‘Just Yours’

Once an order has been placed it is deemed as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.


Your Quotation and payment

You will receive a quote either by post or email detailing the design of your wedding cake/order and all relevant information. Dates will only be held once the deposit has been paid.  All wedding cake orders require a deposit of 25% of the total costs. All deposits become due when the order has been placed and details checked and agreed by you. The deposit is non refundable. The final payment is due 3 weeks before the wedding date. Payment for individual cakes or cake orders placed less than 3 weeks before the event require payment to be made in full.

Cover 19 Update

If you need to postpone your wedding, your order and deposit can be moved to a later date with no extra charge. If I am unable to accommodate your new date, unfortunately the original deposit cannot be refunded as it covers ; the cake tasting and samples, consultation and design/sketches of your cake.

Delivery and Set up

As part of our service Just Yours Weddings will set up your wedding cake at your chosen venue. We ensure that the cake is left in perfect order and photographs of the cake will be taken so that this can be confirmed. Once we leave we cannot take responsibility for the cake if any accidents should occur.

Collection – Single tier cakes and other orders should be collected from us in Lytham st Annes. Once collected the condition of the cake is the responsibility of the client and Just Yours Weddings will not be responsible for any damage to the cake after it has been collected.


All of our ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Whilst nuts are not used in our sponge cakes we cannot guarantee a nut free environment. Fruit cakes contain walnuts and almonds.


All cakes should be kept in a cool, dry environment. Our cakes are designed to be eaten on the day. Sponge cakes will stay fresh for 2 days after the event, fruit cakes for several months. Cakes that are covered in sugar paste should not be refrigerated as sugar paste is not designed to be refrigerated.

Stacked cakes will be supported by plastic dowels which should be removed prior to serving. Any elements of your cake which are not edible should also be removed.


We cannot refund the cost of any cakes cancelled with less than 21 days notice. All deposits are non-refundable.

Cake stand deposits are refundable upon the return of the stand to 2 Monarch Crescent, within the allotted time.


Refunds are only given in exceptional circumstances as deemed appropriate by Just Yours Weddings

All prices are subject to change without notice. However prices of orders placed and deposit paid will not be subject to any change.



All Wedding Stationery is handcrafted, therefore slight variances can occur. This is not deemed as faulty but a characteristic of a handcrafted product.


Once your order has been placed a proof will be made of your stationery and wording chosen. It is the responsibility of the customer to proof read all written material. ‘Just Yours Weddings’ cannot be held responsible for any mistakes noticed after the proof has been approved. Any further work to amend mistakes once the proof/s has been approved may be charged for.


A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required when the order is placed. Materials to complete your order will then be bought. The balance is payable once the stationery is nearing completion and must be paid before stationery can be shipped. Moneys can be paid by cash, cheque, or Bank Transfer. Delay in payment will result in delay of shipment.


Delivery is either by Royal Mail or Parcel force. A signature will be required on receipt of delivery. ‘Just Yours Weddings’ cannot be held liable for loss or damage after dispatch.


It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have copyright permission for hymns, readings etc.


The customer should check products upon receipt. They must notify ‘Just Yours Weddings’ regarding any suspected defect or shortage within 7 days. ‘Just yours Weddings ‘ must receive any faulty stationery before any amendments can take place.


We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on personalised stationery items. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
